Alchemist - Hold You Down vs. Jay-Z - Soon You'll Understand (Better use of sample)

What do ya'll think on this one? Which song do you like better? They both use the sample from Al Koopers "Love Theme from The Landlord". Personally, I think the beat for Alchemist is better, that beat nearly gives me the shivers hearing it. But the lyrics on HOV's are definitely better. Lemme hear your opinions.

It's hard to call it. The atmosphere that Soon You'll Understand creates is more powerful and it wouldn't be so with that Alchemist beat.

The Jay-Z song is dope. I love that sample too...sometimes I just pop that on the ipod and let it play back to back to back. But..I love the way ALC flipped the sample so thats my pick.
