Let me get this straight, this guy just blogged about the TV shows he watched, then became some massive fixture in the internet community with his episode recaps?

Is it really that easy? I mean really, fair play to him for making a career out of episode recaps.

Just saying this cause I've been watching old HBO shows and have wanted other opinions and that kind thing, and found all his stuff which is well written and has some good comments as well.

Thoughts on TV reviews in general?

sepinwall was a writer for like 15 years before he went to hitfix... and was doing tv reviews for a long time before the internet buzz... its not like he is just a young blogger... he was an established journalist before hitfix etc.

i like andy greenwald on grantland i listen to the hollywood propectus podcast he does with the guy from the triangle too...
