ITV is delighted to announce today a ground-breaking new deal with Haymon Sports and Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) to bring exclusive coverage of exciting PBC world-class boxing events to ITV viewers and fight fans in the UK.

The unique collaboration is the first time that Haymon Sports and PBC has partnered with a UK broadcaster to stage boxing events regularly in the UK. The exclusive three-year deal will guarantee a minimum of 15 televised events each year, drawing from PBC’s unrivalled group of over 160 of the best boxers in the world, which includes more than 60 current and former world champions in matches staged both in the UK and the US. PBC, the sports’ pre-eminent boxing brand, is broadcast over cable and network television in the United States.

“This unprecedented deal between PBC and ITV is great news for boxing fans in the UK. We look forward to bringing viewers big events and superb action from some of the world’s best fighters in the coming years,” said Niall Sloane, ITV Director of Sport.

The world-class action from events for the next three years will include free-to-air broadcasts on ITV’s channels, including ITV main channel and ITV4 and ITV Hub, and will also include pay per views on ITV’s PPV channel, ITV Box Office.

“Bringing big events to our platforms under this deal allows ITV to build on its aim of developing our direct relationship with viewers as part of our More Than TV strategy,” said Julian Ashworth, Director ITV Strategy and Direct to Consumer.

Has he written any books or anything on his business acumen?

breh i literally clicked on this thread to say something addressing this. :russ:

Al Haymon being such a low key dude is really a fukking robbery to black people. Now i understand why Al is so low key, it's the right way to be when you really about your business, but you got to think about how much of a role model Al Haymon could be to young black nikkas. You talk about fighting white supremacy, Al has not only been fighting that within his industry, he's had tremendous success doing it. What he's done to the boxing game is crazy! IIRC he also controlled the urban touring market before he was in the boxing game. The guy needs to start telling his story to the public so young black nikkas can see there's true black entrepreneurs out here fighting the system instead of being a pawn of it like most of our famous celebs. Same with Byron Allen.....a lot of black folks dont know who neither of them 2 nikkas are!! it's a shame

so your boy has attained all this power and influence but doesnt want to share game with his ppl?

:mjpls:

he empowers people all the time....

here is former Boxer Paul Williams who suffered a tragic car accident which confined him to a wheelchair for the rest of his life...everybody gave up on him and just when he was gonna give up on himself..AL HAYMON stepped in like a friend and motivated him to not only get out of his depression but gave him insight on the real estate game...and now Williams has actually earned more revenue outside the ring than in it....

he is just one of many al has assisted...

and hired

he could reach more ppl by writing a book or doing a podcast. there are hundreds of thousands of talented black ppl who are stuck trying to navigate this system that he has been successful in.

He has though. There's a reason why Conor McGregor was viewing his dealings with the UFC differently after the Floyd fight and wanted to renegotiate. Floyd schooled in and out the ring. Who taught Floyd though?

Same with Spence right now who doesn't want a promoter despite Oscar's interest in doing so. Who do you think influenced Erroll to stay independent. Adrien Broner is an idiot but recognized something shifty with Eddie Hearn when he offered him a contract. Broner called it a slavery deal.

Then there's Sam Watson who works for Haymon and his sons. Best believe his sons are soaking game like a dish rag. What they're learning at their age is gonna make them business monsters later on.

We can go on and on. But he don't need to do a book. The game is to be sold, not........

I get why people would ask this but with the wealth of information on this subject matter available, why wait for Haymon to speak
