Hope someone knows what I can do to get it fix.. So I turn on my MP last weekend and notice the upper row pads are not working but the rest are working fine.. Anyone one have this issue with the MP?

This is a very common issue. Are they sheet pads or individual? Even if you turn on full velocity, they still don't work
Dont understand the sheet pads? What is that? I did the test for all pads the top row are all dead.

Well I'm not to familiar with the 2000s.but I'll help ya with what I know. I know on the 1000s,they come with individual pads. You can tell by pulling on say pad 1, does it move the pads next to it? If it doesn't, you have the individuals. The individual pads have carbon sheet contact sensors under the rubber pads. After a while the sheet pops off. If you take the pad bank out, and pop one of the dead pads apart you'll see what I mean. You can re glue that sheet down to fix it.

The 2000's are one sheet. It sounds like you need to replace the sensor sheet underneath the pads. Take the cover off and then take the pads offs.

yeah sounds like the sensors went. Common problem. I fix them all the time.

Wow that's wierd. Even at full velocity? I have a mpc 2000 coming in tomorrow. Not sure what condition it's in, maybe I'll end up selling parts from it.

I have a full 2000 with bad screen. Idk if the sheets any good. Lmk if your stuck.
