Like how :mindblown: This is why boxing let UFC muscle their way into the fight game

AJ beat Wlad in a gigantic spectacle at Wembley, surely the biggest fight in British history and biggest heavyweight fight since the 90s would be a no brainer :dwillhuh:

And Wilder gonna go down as a damn fraud champion :hhh:

joshua vs fury was set up...joshua regained his belts and made a defense...he had the orgs ready to make the fight with fury..fury cleared out dillian whyte as a mando...saudis and hearn were going to back whatever the cost was....shyt was set in 2021...except wilder did not want to step aside and legally forced it....so doing that changed HW destinies

Fury had to fight Wilder in a 3rd fight which did even more irreparable damage to Wilder
Joshua was forced to fight Usyk who was his next mando in line

I was so pissed i refused to make any public predictions on them other than the possible undisputed scenarios and the cons on all of them

This is what this era of boxing will be remembered for
The top guys doing everything they can to milk their belts fighting weak challengers while not actually fighting the top guys until they absolutely have to
Duran, Leonard, Hagler and Hearns all fighting each other would've NEVER happened in this era
It's awful and embarrassing

Joshua vs Wilder should've happened last December
It was right there but once again these greedy fukks had to milk a pointless tune up PPV with Joshua vs Wallin & Wilder vs Parker, two fights absolutely nobody gave a fukk about and Wilder wound up losing
I still would've just gone with Joshua vs Wilder anyway. I mean they did Joshua vs Ngannou, how could Joshua vs Wilder been worse?

Hearn wouldnt put him in with wilder when it counted.. joshua was asking for 50 million back then wonder if he got that yet. Pbc supposedly said cool but then hearn wouldnt budge off the 3 fight deal. Back when joshua was the biggest thing going on dazn and they were still establishing.

Ideally the ref would have waved off a dazed fury and not gave him 20 seconds to get up and the fight would have happened then before both of them got tainted.

shyt dont matter now but this thread offended me enough to respond. Fury/joshua even trying to set the match up when wilder had a rematch clause was the most disrespectful shyt. Shows the scummy side of boxing politics. Ufc not much better they just dont get enough coverage to shine the light on it.

How i blame fury? I dont really blame many fighters cause promoters are the ones really scared to not maximize profits. Joshua woulda fought for the 50 million or whatever.. it kinda sounds like canelo asking for 250 million to fight benavides but whatever not stuck on it.

Covid delayed the rematch then fury dragged them through arbitration after took way more time than just honoring the contract he signed. Didnt he do that before? I remember boxing media really went along with them setting up a different fight like fury wasnt already contractually bound. shyt aint you boxing media? Need more integrity all around in this sport. we complaining about boxing politics ruining it but when its the right faces yall look right past the right thing to do.

Wilder rejected so many offers to fight AJ it's crazy, he was offered career high purse after career high purse and he rejected them. There's a video below and there was a mega offer after that. When Wilder would finally fight AJ to cash out recently he lost both times, AJ signed to fight Wilder but Wilder fukked it up by turning down all those offers and then losing the last 2. Fury also rejected an offer to fight AJ at 60/40 when AJ was champion and Fury wasn't then when it was agreed Fury pulled out of the fight apparently due to the arbitration. Whether someone likes AJ or not it was Wilder and Fury thus far are the reasons they haven't fought AJ, he's made offers, been willing and signed to fight both. Looks like we won't get AJ vs Wilder now which is a big shame because that was a mega fight that should have happened, hopefully we can still get AJ vs Fury, regardless of what happens these big fights need to happen for boxing.

AJ Vs Fury has a slight chance but I have a feeling Fury will be done after Uysk either way.

AJ Vs Wilder would be Haye Vs Audley Harrison at this point.
