These comparisons are hard to make. It’s like comparing Richard Pryor’s standup to Eddie Murphy’s. You can say Eddie’s is better, but you can tell he so influenced by Pryor that you have to pay respect. You can say the same thing with Rakim and Nas.
But to answer the question… In Living Color is my choice. It was more iconic and had more variety.

In Living Color. Chappelle show had some misses (as all shows do) and I don’t think it particularly aged well. I can’t really get through an episode now, and there’s only a handful of skits I’ll revisit.
In Living Color had iconic skits and characters the first two seasons and really broke ground for sketch comedy in general. The cast was also HOF worthy. All time memorable characters, catchphrases, music video parodies, etc

Chappelle Show was one man for the most part providing the most comedy, while ILC had a whole cast of comedians killin it. Plus they did it while being neutered by network tv censors. Just imagine In Living Color with the freedom CS had....They let them get away with "nikka" one time from my recollection
