Don't Believe the Hype
...that the Bulls were done?

I know MJ only played like 17 games in the regular season that season after returning from baseball *sneeze*banned for gambling*cough* but it still is Michael.

Ultimately, the Bulls raped the NBA the following season but I always wondered what the masses thought after that 2nd round exit in '95.

No cause people knew that MJ was still rusty after coming back from playing baseball they knew he'd back again. Plus that '95 team didnt even have Dennis Rodman, im sure everybody knew MJ would be right back in the Finals sooner than later

Everyone everywhere knew that the league caught up with them (Jordan getting ripped by a Role player in Nick Anderson :snoop:)... Their only solution was to enlist a top 3 rebounder of all time to propel them back to the top :merchant:... If only Timmy Duncan was 5 years younger :ohlawd:

Most people were shocked that he lost but figured the Bulls would be back next season. And were they ever :whew:

I remember the conversation was more about Orlando being the team of the future and they were going to be a dynasty for the next 10 years. With Mike it was just uncertainty but people thought they would get better next year. Some people gave Hakeem the best player in the game title.

I remember that summer a lot of people were saying jordan was washed and he was getting old.The bulls losing was a good thing cuz Mike was Focused all summer to prove his doubters wrong + the 95 bulls were a flawed team they lost the majority of the pieces from the 1st 3 peat.Nobody ever mentions how pippen was losing his mind as the go to guy that nikka was catchin cases(domestic and gun),had paternity cases and was throwing chairs on the court breaking tv's

It was a kind of wait and see situation cuz the bulls had a hole at the 4 after grant left and people wanted to see if mike was done

People paid more attention to the potential of young Penny and dominant Shaq and what we thought they'd become....adversaries to the Bulls.

People weren't simply waiting on what the Bulls would or wouldn't do.

Niqqas in here are crafting shyt.

People still going with the rusty excuse?:comeon:

They lost because they got dominated on the boards. Mike in the 95' playoffs was better then he was in 96/97/98

This is the truth. nikkas thought the Bulls time had passed. The year Shaq went to LA, people were thinking Penny was going to lead the league in scoring for years.
