lol, no he didn't. WWE posted an interview before Summerslam were Shawn himself admitted that he only talked to D-Bry when he was doing a tryout/dark match and most of the info he got was from other people telling him about how Danielson was doing.

Kliq stans are funny with the HBK-Bryan connection. Bryan has said countless times that Michaels was rarely there when they were training, Shawn's main job was giving his students some bookings in Japan and getting them to WWE's farm system in Memphis, he's also admitted that Jose Lothario and mainly, William Regal, were responsible for making him the worker he is now.
