I've probably watched that scene 100 times... and it's as good now as it was the first time. Better actually because I see something new every time I watch it.

Got me thinking... is it the greatest fight scene of all time? :jbhmm:
That's a tough call :patrice:

It depends what you consider a "fight" scene and the criteria that makes it good.

Personally I like a lot of different fight scenes for different reasons. I love the Tony Jaa scene from Protector. I like the scene from The Raid when dude goes from one fight to a second fight with his brother against a savage. I like the the scene from John Wick when they first come to his house. Desperado had some sh*t I hadn't seen before when it first came out. I really enjoyed all the fight scenes from Crouching Tiger as a collective but no one particular over the Kingsman scene. Kill Bill sword fight was dope. Jackie Chan's Who am I was dope. Seems like a crime to not have Jet Li in here somewhere. Even though they were short I liked the Bourne/Assassin fights to the death. But no one individual scene is better than the Kingsman scene.

I know all this is subjective but I wanted to hear other folks' favorite fight scenes. I know I'm leaving a bunch out.

For reference the fight vids I'm referencing are below-

Kingsman Church scene:

Tony Jaa - The Protector

The Raid - Back to Back fights

John Wick

Desperado

Kill Bill

Bourne

Jackie Chan - Who am I

The fukkery of that church scene makes it a great one. But for me a fight has to have more than that to it. It has to have a purpose and some emotion put into it. Combined with some shyt I've never seen before. For me that is these 2 fights especially the one in the kitchen.
