After illmatic, it's not crazy to say GKMC is number 2...

and you guys might look at me with the face but think about it for a second.. 10 years from now when we look back, most of you will be ranking this album higher than what it is right now. It's just really a classic in the upmost perspective with the way the whole concept was executed flawlessly. I would have to say it beat out Ready to die as far as albums go.. and i'm the biggest biggie and Nas fan.

it's not really as overhyped as you think it is though.. the album did deliver and in rare form too. It's beyond Reasonable Doubt and some of the 90's classics. Give it some time before the dust settles, Reasonable doubt wasn't even seen as a classic till 2001

just give it a decade, there is going to be some nostalgia involved in this the same way most 90's albums are, you can't compare GKMC to any album released in the past 10 years with this much impact and great songs since GRODT, that's fact.

Good kid mad city isn't even better than section 80. It's not even classic. It's a great concept album that was hyped up to be the next illmatic. I think Kendrick's next album will be a classic.
