All Pat's parents want is for him to get back on his feet and to share their family's obsession with the Philadelphia Eagles football team. When Pat meets Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), a mysterious girl with problems of her own, things get complicated. Tiffany offers to help Pat reconnect with his wife, but only if he'll do something very important for her in return. As their deal plays out, an unexpected bond begins to form between them, and silver linings appear in both of their lives.

I saw it a few weeks ago. I thought I made a thread about it, but I forgot.


Chris Tucker has 3 or 4 scenes in the film. He is pretty funny. It isnt standard Chris Tucker stuff, but its good.


I never though of Jennifer Lawrence as being THAT hot, but I feel she was in this film. Its a romantic-dramedy, Lewis' character has a lot of issues but its funny. One of the funniest scenes in the movie for me is when Bradley Cooper talks about her dead husband. Thats the type of humor that this movie has.

I think she could get an oscar nomination for her performance. She was that good.


I really enjoyed this movie a lot, and with the way the studio is promoting this I think this could be a sleeper fall hit.

Its a really good movie.
