I forgot that Ivory Coast hosted and won AfCon. By all accounts, it was a great hosting job that showcased the culture of their country.
I like this video and them showcasing positive developments.
Often, the first and only time people see/hear anything about developing countries is for bad news. Good that people can get a balanced look.
I have relatives who are married to Ivorians, and I'm certain that Haitians carry genes and cultural elements from the ethnic groups there. Speaking of ethnic groups, when I first met my cous' husband decades ago, was surprised by how many different (Native) languages he said are spoken there. For such a small country.
