Some observations...

Dr Umar Johnson spoke yesterday and today.

He said you nikkas is playing with the money.

He is considering going to Ghana to build his school.

He is a tall big dude.

The speakers many if them, talked about black folks playing with they money.

We need to build we need to progress but we need to pay.

In the land of the c00ns, black men and white women relationships was put on blast. A few of their off spring were in the audience.

Dr.umar said you brothers don't look right pawging.

Dr umar Told black women to eschew white feminist organisations but we have a voice and black men have to listen.

Apparently all the nice looking men are in the conscience community in the uk because I saw some beautiful brothas.

The Sistas were looking fly too.

But I think the best message was that we need to spend our money if we want to see change. We have to fund our institutions.

I remember a few years ago, there was supposed to be an african centred school in London called the Ma'at School of Excellence. I don't know the status on it but the whole hoopla of it died quite a while ago.

Why would one celebrate an "African Liberation" day in the United Kingdom?

Also, Umar Johnson should stay away from Africa. Let the Africans build their own schools and teach their own people. African Americans can't even teach their own kids yet some of them are trying to teach others.

On a serious note I think we really need to be committed to actually funding our progress. It's not happening if we don't do it. I was so impressed to see a focus on black economics and people actually talking about us having to contribute our time and resources to change.

I'm thinking Jews throw money at anything Jewish.

Black Christians throw money too. But when it comes to anything race specific then everyone puts their hands back in their pocket.

I think we have an advantage in the UK when it comes to coming together. Considering a smaller population and from what I've seen we have a little more unity being from the islands. Maybe we can have a goal-specific parnter fund?

Perhaps. There were a lot of different types of blacks there.

However there is a stronger illusion of inclusion in the UK given how we live neck to jowl with whites and Asians here. And given the white under class in the uk any of our issues can very easily turn into class instead of race issues.
