Fatima Khambaty, MD, FACS,
General Surgeon
A board-certified general surgeon, Dr. Khambaty earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkley and her medical degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Khambaty specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons. Prior to joining LuccaHealth, Dr. Khambaty practiced with the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group as the Assistant Chief of the Department of Surgery at Kaiser Permanente in Washington, D.C. Prior to practicing with Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Khambaty practiced as an attending general surgeon at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., one of the leading hospitals in the United States.
Udele Tagoe, MD, FACOG,
Gynecological Surgeon
A board-certified gynecologist, Dr. Tagoe earned her bachelor’s degree from Duke University and her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Tagoe specializes in general gynecology and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery procedures, such as laparoscopic surgery. She is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, as well as a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Prior to joining LuccaHealth, Dr. Tagoe practiced with Aria Jefferson Health, The Center for Gynecology and Women’s Health, as attending gynecologic surgeon and Interim Chair of the Gynecology Department in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Previously, she was attending gynecologic surgeon with the Gynecology Specialists of Philadelphia at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, a University of Pennsylvania affiliate.
Jeanette Burkschat, MD
Otorhinolaryngologist (ENT)
Dr. Burkschat is board-certified in otorhinolaryngology (Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT)) and Head & Neck surgery. Dr. Burkschat earned her medical degree from Hannover Medical School and specialty training from the Medical Chamber of Baden-Württemberg, Germany; over the past twenty years (20), she has practiced in Europe and Asia. Dr. Burkschat specializes in paediatric ENT (adenoid, tonsil and hearing disorder), allergy diagnosis and treatment, septum and sinus surgeries, hearing and ear disorders, sleep apnea, larynx surgery and head & neck surgery, including salivary glands. Prior to joining LuccaHealth, Dr. Burkschat served as the head of the ENT Department at the Shanghai United Family Hospital and Clinics in China. Prior to her work in Shanghai, she worked at the Siloah St. Trudpert Hospital in Pforzheim, Germany as the Deputy Medical Director for the ENT Clinic.
Senyo Tagboto, MB ChB, MRCP(UK), DLSHTM, FRCP(Edin), FRCPC,
Internist & Nephrologist
Dr. Tagboto is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology. Dr. Tagboto earned his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School and an MSC degree in parasitology from the University of London. Dr. Tagboto practiced in the United Kingdom for two decades, completing his residency at the University of Leicester Hospitals and serving as Consultant Nephrologist at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire. Nephrology includes the identification and management of chronic kidney disease, causative diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension), and the care of patients requiring peritoneal and hemodialysis. Dr. Tagboto is a Fellow of the Canadian Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He also earned his MRCP(UK) degree. Prior to joining LuccaHealth, Dr. Tagboto practiced in Canada for more than ten years, serving as Consultant in nephrology and internal medicine in Nova Scotia and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Dalhousie University, Canada.
Georgios Haramis, MD, Ph.D, FEBU,
Urological Surgeon
Dr. Haramis is a board-certified urologist. He is a fellow of the European Board of Urology, and earned his Ph.D in prostate cancer biology, from the University of Athens Medical School. Dr. Haramis is fellowship-trained in USA and France and specializes in the minimally invasive treatment of prostate hyperplasia and all types of urinary stones (kidney/ureter/bladder). He is also performing laparoscopic (key-hole) surgery in the kidney, various advanced endourology procedures as well as, scrotal (varicocelectomy, hydrocelectomy, epididymectomy) and genitourinary tumors operations (prostate, kidney, bladder, testis). Prior to joining LuccaHealth, Dr. Haramis worked as the Head of Urology and Advanced Endourology Department, at Mouwasat Hospital in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Asheri Masse, CRNA,
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
A board-certified nurse anesthetist, Mrs. Masse earned her bachelor’s degree from Grambling State University and her Master’s in Nursing from Fairfield University in Connecticut. Mrs. Masse specializes in pre, intra and post-operative management of diverse patient populations for general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, OB/GYN, pediatrics, vascular and cardio thoracic surgeries and trauma. Prior to joining LuccaHealth, Mrs. Masse worked at United States Anesthesia Partners in Houston, Texas. Before residing in Texas, Mrs. Masse practiced in Connecticut at Anesthesia Associates of Southern Connecticut and Anesthesia Associates of New London.
Tonye Masse, PA-C, MSPA, RT(R),
Board Certified Physician Assistant
A board-Certified Physician Assistant, Mr. Masse holds an Associate’s Degree in Radiography from Southern Maine Community College and a Bachelor of Science Degree with Human Service Specialization from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. He earned his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Mr. Masse is member of the American Association of Physician Assistants. Prior to joining LuccaHealth, Mr. Masse worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center Interventional Radiology in Houston, Texas where he performed minimally invasive procedures (image guided biopsies, vascular interventions etc). Mr. Masse also served as Interventional Radiology Clerkship Director of the Physician Assistant Fellowship Program and also assisted in Robotic (Da Vinci) assisted surgeries at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. Mr. Masse is an experienced surgical Physician Assistant who brings a positive attitude, innovative approach and relentless penchant for learning.
