Agreed. To me it's like we sacrifice ourselves and needs -- when we are the original and only group of people who descend from the enslaved of America. The only other group other than the Natives who are owned redress.

They (non-Black people) know our issues -- and they know they know it stems from our ancestors experience -- and the longtime injustices and mistreatment in America -- YET - we are supposed to take it to the chin -- and help everyone else -- and just shut up cause now "we free" and "were never slaves" -- ignoring that we still dealing with what was done in the past (and present).

I feel like all "Black organizations" need to be gutted and we need to vote in new representatives and have our agendas approved by us -- and they have to be for us exclusively. If not, they don't make it to the agenda.

What do you think? Have you thought of any solutions?

I was thinking of reaching out to a Civil Rights Attorney for advice. I also have already reached out to John Conyers Jr. -- even though he is no longer in office -- he is still available.

I agree with this sentiment here. Unfortunately I am afraid we are to far gone as a people in America to do what is really necessary for our salvation which in part involves pooling our resources to create Afrocentric political action committees and to a larger extent educational and financial institutions that are soley owned, funded, and operated by Africans (from every diaspora) in America. But if there were a blue print, id say the best way forward is to start small at a grass roots level using local black organizations such as as the urban league as a conduit to get the idea out there for PACs to effect local elections....I hate to say it but you would almost have to use the 2009 tea party model in which the Koch Brothers dispensed millions to local grass roots political organizations and action committees to focus on the CAC agenda which culminated into Trump...Id say it pretty much would have to start with the top 1% of African American business people who arent controlled in some way or form by CACs or Jews and have the conscious to want to give money to Afro centric groups to form PACs and platform candidates and issues that are focused on our issues presently...Frankly, finding African Americans at the level of financial wealth who arent controlled by CACs and/or Jews is like trying to find a Unicorn so that is why I have lost faith personally...I dont know, maybe it changes for the better

I think there is a lot of misinformation on what lobbyist do and who they are, based on the fluidity of the term. I also think a lot of African Americans don't go into that career because we as a group is more progressive politically (even if we culturally are more conservative) and progressives are taught that lobbyist are inherently bad. Also the power dynamic between lobbyist and politicians tend to be a misconstrued so people want to go into politics as a politician instead of lobbying where there is a lot of power to create change.

It's also not exclusively a pay to play industry...... especially on the local level. There is a lot more room to advocate for a policy or a community as a lobbyist than as a politician. Expecting AA to pool or money together is asking to much when the bar for entry in this field is much lower.

This has been one of my goals for a couple years. I wanted to get my weight up before starting group. Starting a think tank to take over our local communities is a good first step. Making sure the right sheriff, DA, city council, state senate/house and Board of Education are in place. I’m willing to put in the work if y’all want to come up with a action plan.

Stokely Carmichael laid the Blue print with the Lowndes County Black Panther Movement:

Lowndes County Freedom Organization | The Black Past: Remembered and Reclaimed

Unfortunately I fear our people in todays age have been brainwashed to believe that a bureaucratic black organization along the lines of what brother Carmichael did would be considered toxic:francis:

Of course, we have The Black Caucus, The NAACP, The Urban League and a few more - but they are not exclusively for Black Americans/AA -- they are for all "people of color."

You didn't mention the National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in America.

What do you want this hypothetical org to specifically target that existing orgs aren't doing? Because the main thing you need to do lobbying is a ton of money. And the people giving the money need to feel you have a concrete, practical agenda and know how to achieve it. So what specific, concrete agenda will this group try to achieve that no one else is already going better?

And don't try to convince me. Convince the people with lobbying-sized wallets.

Why did you jump straight from bytching that too many posters were calling out White supremicists, to bumping a pro-Black thread from four years ago?
Never bytched nor do I care who gets called out :pachaha:
Hilarious how hl never cared about black politics :pachaha:
I love how y'all try to put words and agendas on people to fit your narrative :pachaha:

So you didn't just make a whole thread about it? :mjlol:

Someone will make a thread posting some right wing weirdo tweet and one of you nikkas pop up like "That's *insert right wing weirdo* from *obscure right wing online publication*, he just posted a 127 page manifesto on how kill black people that I read. What are you doing posting him :mjpls: ?"

nikka what are YOU doing knowing dude history and background? :jbhmm:

If you're not upset about it then you're straight the biggest idiot on this board. Not that both can't be true.

Hilarious how hl never cared about black politics :pachaha:

Lying out your ass, what a surprise. I've put 10x as much work into Black politics threads than you ever have with your dap-fishing nonsense.

Read the words, not into the words. Once again, trying to place agendas and narratives on people :pachaha:
Still no official black politics or black politicians threads :dead:
One thread from 2018 that's not even what I'm talking about:mjlol:
