Fightful Select reports that 2point0, Angelo Parker and Matt Menard, have signed contract extensions with AEW after originally signing last year. In fact, the extensions come a year to the day after they were announced as signing. They joined the company on August 4, 2021 but they were announced to have signed on August 19.

Menard has been doing commentary while dealing with an injury and Parker is still making regular appearances. The two have been praised by fans and other wrestlers for their work in the company. Sources say have been “good to work with” in the past year.

Daddy Magic Matt Menard is a good promo. Apparently he has been doing some Dark or Dark Elevation commentary since he has been injured and people seem to like it. I haven't watched though. I don't see much point in tuning in for 3 minute matches.

But also I can't even remember the last time I saw them wrestle a tag-team match. Seems like all they do is trios or large multi-man matches these days, at least on Dynamite and Rampage that is.

For the hell of it, I decided to look. Since coming to AEW, 2point0 have had just two Dynamite/Rampage matches where it was a traditional tag team match. Though they do have extensive traditional tag experience on Dark and Dark Elevation.

Is he baby Brian Knobbs, or the other one?

He's a good, old school promo guy. He should drop the other guy, get a signature prop, and become a manager. He could be what Mark Sterling is supposed to be. :ehh:
Yes. I've said it before and I'll say it again, love the passion he brings on the mic.

He could make for a good manager. YOu might be on to something here. Could have paired him with Daniel Garcia or one of their other up and coming guys that needs work on the mic while they work behind the scenes on their promo skills.

You spelled "cocaine" wrong.

Tony Khan could bring back the days when Slick, Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart, and Mr. Fuji were cooking. AEW already has a bunch of stables, he could easily plug in Stokely Hathway, Brian Knobbs Jr., Christian, and Mark Sterling to play the Johnny Valiant/Paul Jones jobber manager role. Hopefully, Tony could also convince William Regal to second his guys at ringside.
