Former three division world champion Adrien Broner (29-1, 22KOs) is looking for bigger fights. Earlier this month Broner won a twelve round unanimous decision over Emmanuel Taylor at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

When BoxingScene.com asked Broner "what's next?" - the once beaten fighter had Argentine revenge in mind.

"Hopefully [Lucas] Matthysse or [Marcos] Maidana," he answered.

Broner's only career setback came at the hands of Maidana last December in San Antonio, Texas.

Light article, but the point is...he's still looking for the Marcos Maidana rematch or Lucas Matthysse in his next fight. Now, Al Haymon may instead go in the direction of Humberto Soto, but AB is sticking to the script like I thought he was. He always calls out the toughest opponents and this is maybe the 5th or 6th time I've heard him call out Matthysse or Maidana for the rematch

I dont really like the fights he puts together, but if he was my manager, I'd be cool doing whatever he says. Hell, Leo Santa Cruz just got paid 750K to fight a sparring partner.....literally. Manuel Roman was his former sparring partner

Mike Stafford as well. He already said he told AB that Matthysse is gonna always be there and to look in a different direction basically.


So, it's AB wanting one thing, but his Team/Management is gonna do another


I expect to see AB vs Soto as the end result.
