Adrian Peterson might want to put down the iPad for a bit.

Soon after it was announced Monday nightthat a grand jury would not charge police officer Darren Wilson, who killed unarmed teenager Michael Brown in August, Peterson awkwardly compared his child abuse charges in Texas to what was happening in Ferguson, Mo.

Other than the words "grand jury" there isn't a thing that ties either case to each other. News broadcasts showed angry protesters burning down businesses amid clouds of police-issued tear gas in Ferguson after the announcement was made, and there were reports of shots fired in the crowd.

This tweet — assuming his account was not hacked — certainly doesn't make the Minnesota Vikings running back, who admitted to police he didn't know what was wrong with hitting his 4-year-old child multiple times when interviewed in his case, appear to be any more aware now than he appeared then.

Other athletes reacted to the Ferguson news, and there was a mixture of anger, confusion and frustration mixed in. But Peterson's confusion takes that word to a whole new direction.

Peterson has been suspended for the remainder of the 2014 NFL season for his actions and can apply for reinstatement as of April 15, 2015 pending a meeting with commissioner Roger Goodell, who told Peterson he needed to show remorse for his actions.

Whys this make him a moron breh? I'm sure he has frustrations about the legal system
This Wilson grand jury decision is something of national importance and intense debate and emotion. This dude chimes in and all he has to say is to compare it to his child abuse case?

He followed up later with a R.I.P. Mike Brown tweets after he started getting dissed.

He didn't compare child abuse to police brutality at all. What a fukking reach :snoop:
I didn't say he did. Yall are simple.

What if twitter was around during the 50's and after A high profile lynching and the killers didn't get indicted, and someone says "They didn't indict me for trespassing charge either at first!"

It's tone deaf and indicative of a simple mind that can't see the world outside them self. But keep defending this clown.
