Like I said in the other thread, Bryan/Kofi was on another dimension than Cole/Gargano.
Structure was excellent, transitions were perfect, babyface shine was
Heel control segment was
a true masterclass. Bryan doesn't even has offense that focuses on the ribs and dude was just incredible working that body part.
Kofi's selling and fire was
D-Bry's cutoffs were
The little touches like DB hitting the ribs to win the strike exchanges or lock the LeBell Lock, and Kofi taking time to hit some of his stuff and huffing in puffing because he could barely breathe after getting his mid section worked for minutes is the kind of stuff you don't see in WWE these days. Or you see it after the wrestlers have shrugged off all the previous work because they wanted to hit 10 spots in a row.
The finish was perfect too. The face does overcome the odds and kickouts/gets out of major trouble to prevail. But it wasn't 10 finishers and 3 people. It was 1 finisher and 1 submission. It was also definitive. Kofi got his revenge by stomping Bryan's head in and then decisively won with Trouble in Paradise. The babyface was just better kayfabe wise, and he fukking earned that W.
I think this match will get even better with time. Like Cena vs Bryan at Summerslam 13'. It was legit a WM classic.
