Yes, theme, story, acting all better in this movie. Special effects and directing T2 has it but this is just a realistic human story. Maybe I'm just biased toward that type of movie.

His breathing in the end of T2 will go down in history as one of the best portrayals of sheer panic in movie history.

absolutely positively loved him in T2 and eureka but i will have to say my fave is his role in eureka because in the town full of geniuses he was the smartest and most trusting and good person. I thought his character was just a overall great look for black folk and salute whoever wrote it and picked him for it

He was great in Brother from Another Planet in what should have been a break-out role that turned him into a star.
Also Lone Star is one of the most underrated movies ever. If you are a fan of brilliant writing and equally as brilliant acting then you will love Lone Star.

All that being said I don't think any role has been written expressly to showcase Morton's talent as much as his role on Scandal. Those roaring monologues full of fury and ego are the types of scripts most working actors would kill for.
