achilles hurting terribly while running and stretchjng

So Im on vacation for two weeks, but I still maintain routine, doing workouts at the local park and running about 3 miles a day. Whixh is a huge change kf pace, since I did no cardio during my other routine. Anyway my achilles heel feels like its about to pop, how do I heal amd prevent this in the future?

something like this happened to me and I started sleeping with a foot brace to keep it stretched at night until I recovered. I also bought some wack looking skecher shape ups to facilitate jogging but I was back to normal after a month.

Check your form. This might mean running shorter distances because you are at a better stride and moving faster, but this will increase your speed quickly and eventually the distance will come. More importantly you won't be getting injured.
