Schooling people takes forever; don't bother
Apparently, someone from an IP address posted the Standard version of the album, with producer and writer credits, with the length, so I think that they are legit

Most people don't know who wrote or produced tracks, only the length...and the audacity to say Aaliyah has covers of Mariah Carey from the 90s and more legit titles of unreleased tracks makes me think this is someone on the blackground team

usually, wikipedia trolls make a throwaway username and then get banned but this one has merit, even though it's uncited and no major outlets even reported that the release date is AUGUST 20th of THIS YEAR, which is 22 years after her death, poetic, because she lived 22 years

thoughts:

...good thing we dodged all the snap music/autotune/melancholy drake & weeknd era...would have been a disaster if this was released in 2014 with those influences and forced duets....we are slowly going back to 'real singing' with the likes of FLO and streeter, etc being stans and taking direct influence from Aaliyah for her music to make a comeback in the right era

they removed Future off Time!....good! didn't need that mumble

Janet Jackson on Girlfriends! WOW! she always wanted to do a song with her

Round and Round is no longer with Ne-Yo

Sade! Same birthday as Aaliyah!

no TI on never do but the OG version

OG versions of songs...wow....I hope this is real....

i wanted to hear 'My Mind' so badly. it was a snippet even after all these years

but the features tho: lil kim, sade, janet, like wow

no t-pain, no future, no TI, not drake's pet project...still need to hear the OG version of Enough Said, and whatever the OG title is

Timbaland, Missy, Static, OG songs, not remixes

It's releasing august 20th with no promotions, get on it!!!

This is really going to be her last album. wow

there might be a compilation after this, and a few leftover tracks that didnt make the cut

once the album comes out, there may be leftover leaks

surprised they didnt include 'la la la' or 'surprise' or 'no days go by'...but apparently, La La La is most likely listed here as No Place I'd Rather Be. Surprise is just Round N Round

Those better be on the next 25th Anniversary compilation or something...idc if it's leaked, put it on the album in CDQ
