A7 black optic

So my A7 is in the shop for some repairs, and while there, I'm considering getting it blacked out with an aftermarket black optic package. They are quoting me 3800 for parts/labor/taxes to get the black optic grill and to replace the front/rear/quarter panel/roof trims to gloss black. Alot more than I expected. $748 for the grill, $297 x 2 for the front trims/molding, $284 x 2 for the rear, $437 x 2 for the roof, and $267 for the quarter panels. Should I ask about getting the trims/moldings wrapped to savd cost and get the grill? Other suggestions? I'm trying to get cost down to 2k.

id just dip everything. it wouldnt be glossy as paint but more like the wheels in the last pic and wit all the money id be saving id be cool wit that

Actually, when it comes to modding out the A7 (which I wouldn't really suggest). You need to pay for quality work, trying to cheap out on parts here and there will make a very classy looking vehicle and make it tacky.

Dont get them replaced. Go to a reputable wrap shop & just get the pieces wrapped in gloss black. It'll probably cost $500-1000 instead of 3800.

For the wheels they have a new plastidip that looks glossy as fukk, like a wrap: Autodip | The Next Generation of Peelable Paint

you must not be looking clearly. Clearly the grille is chrome on mine vs black in the second. Same goes for the window trim. The last pic has black rims compared to the stock aluminum. Far from subtle differences breh.

$3,800 is a lot of dough to update the the grill and trim moulding.
Have you checked out www.ecstuning.com ? I would rather spend money on performance-related upgrades instead of appearance upgrades.

i'm not willing to pay 3800 which is why i posted this thread in the first place for alternative options. Posting on audizine was much more helpful than here.
