:ohhh:According to Cody Rhodes, this will kill the promotion, the territory, and maybe even the whole business.

Will we find out if he's right? :jbhmm:

But more importantly..... what if.... he's wrong? :mjlit:

It'll be interesting to see if Cody, Khan & co. will respond to this since they backtracked so much on unionizing after they announced AEW.

I just wanna see grown adults slam each other into blunt objects for my amusement, see Stone Cold every few months on WWE, wrestlers perform unscripted original promos and show a lil blood every now and then... fukk I care for if these circus freaks unionise?:dahell:

In fact, I just saw Stone Cold return last week so I super don't give a fukk coz I got more than half of what I want already -- I'm good.:yeshrug:

Well, who's fault is it if you don't wanna work somewhere there is no union?:mjlol:

You can't blame me for their stupidity. They knew what they were signing up for and it's not illegal to have no union it's just morally wrong. It's literally not that hard and in 2019 who else is to blame except themselves and the circus freak who trained them.

In a major step towards the unionizing professional wrestling, Pro Wrestling EVE, the women’s promotion in the UK has announced the formation of a Code of Conduct in partnership with Equity UK.

The unionization of pro wrestling has always been a hot-button topic, with Cody Rhodes talking about traces of this prior to the formation of All Elite Wrestling.

This Code of Conduct is going to allow for such thing as like performers to have accident insurance, something that has always been a major talking point in pro wrestling.

This is not the first time Pro Wrestling EVE has been in the news for trying to move the industry in a progressive manner. In an effort to counter product the controversial WWE Super ShowDown card in Saudi Arabia, EVE streamed a free show counterprogramming the card.

EVE- Riots Grrrl of Wrestling is pleased to announce that we have agreed to a Code of Conduct for the engagement of performers with Equity UK. Equity is the trade union for professional performers. We understand this Code is the first of its kind.
The Code of Conduct sets out EVE’s terms and conditions in writing, provides union recognition, a Dignity at Work policy as well as giving access and time for talent to engage with the union. This Code of Conduct is a culmination of talks that began over eighteen months ago between EVE and Equity UK.
We believe there are clear benefits for talent to be part of the union, including accident

insurance for talent injured at work, as well as public liability and backstage insurance. Union membership also provides confidential legal advice and support, even when talent are working for promoters who do not recognise the union. Equity Members have access to representation in contractual disputes as well as getting help with tax & welfare guidance.
ln continuing our commitment to the performers we at EVE will subsidise the membership subscription of any artist booked on our show for that given month.
EVE see the unionisation of independent performers as extremely important in this ever-changing and fast developing wrestling scene, especially right now, here in the UK.
