A VALID argument for forced sterilization ....Yea I Said It!!!

If there is an argument to be made for forced sterilization, here is the poster couple for that campaign to get STARTED. Thanks to them, society has seven messed up children to care for.

A Denver couple accused of keeping four malnourished young children in a filthy apartment pleaded guilty to neglecting three other children under strikingly similar conditions in 2006, court records show.
The parents, Wayne Sperling and Lorinda Bailey, appeared in court Tuesday on felony child-abuse charges. Authorities say their four boys, ages 2 to 6, lived in a rank-smelling apartment littered with cat feces, flies and urine. The boys could not speak and only grunted, authorities said.
Police found similar conditions at the couple's apartment in 2006, when they had three other children, records released Tuesday show.
All seven kids were placed with a child services agency. No other details were available on their current status or whereabouts.

To this day it beggars belief, as to how in the F**K can your own flesh& blood treat you like second hand chewing gum......I swear its only right some people shouldn't be allowed to bear kids...question is how to weed Muffukas like these out.....some sort of psychological profiling needs to go down prior to unplanned mishaps...or even better yet lets adopt that Chinese one child policy for these Sorry excuses for parents & assess the upbringing before allowing them to breed up a mini slave colony of sort

^^^^^ to a certain point I side with that statement but you gotta understand this is why I support the government subsidizing & providing free condoms & basic birth control pills for anyone who wants them. In fact, if you're receiving certain government benefits it should be a requirement.....In my opinion, I think incentivized sterilization would be better. Just a standing offer of £/$ 1000 paid to anyone who submits to voluntary sterilization. The kind of people who would do that are the ones we probably want out of the gene pool anyway But then again on the other side of the coin problem with such a scheme would be that inevitably the poor would be overrepresented. Then that dominoes in to minority groups that are overrepresented amongst the poor & you guessed it the familiar sounds of racism soon make headlines...sigh.. I guess there's no winning breh!

Education and proper information regarding Life should be of upmost importance. When a mother gives birth she is actually saving a human soul.

Its tough because some people clearly should not be having kids, but at the same time this is a system that can quickly spiral out of control.

China's demographic problems (and future undoing) are the result of such programs. The goofy 1 child rule as well as the wiping out of millions of female kids due to preference has pretty much doomed them to a fate similar to Japan.

And of course there is the whole issue of human rights.

I think there is a healthy medium though. Like they could limit welfare to people who only have 2 or less kids for example. Or no child support if you have more than 2 baby daddys. shyt like that would definitely curb a lot of the fukkery going on without violating anyones rights.

Well, there was a similar case near me and this couple mistreated their own daughter. They both got 10 years each.
My opinion. The government does not own you. Once you give the power to choose who get sterilized and who doesn't to the government, that's a big problem. The alternative, if you mistreat children in that manner, the parent gets the death penalty.

that is a very dangerous line to draw. I don't think i'd say forced sterilization is a must, but i'm all for the incentiveized idea. For instance if you want food stamps you get your EBT card and a contraception shot at the same time. Food stamps would be the incentive. Same thing with cash assistance. I'd stop it there though, not at the medical, but for sure food and cash. If you already have kids that's ok, but while you're on the state dime you should be forced to choose between accepting a hand out or having more kids (which you clearly can't support).

I've seen far to many COUSINS on FS having 3+ kids like it's no big thing.

At least with the optional contraception it's A. not forced, B. Not permanent, C. only required if you're in a situation where you shouldn't be having kids.

Sterilized? Not really, that i don't think anyone should be forced to do. BUT, if you're going to be getting aid then birth control should be manditory. you don't have to take the aid.

Sounds to me like the people in the article are foster parents and not actual parents. Sterilizing these folks won't do any good. Just cut them off from being able to adopt anymore kids.
