I have nothing to hide, but I'd be insulted if she asked to track me.

Trust doesn't make you naive. Believing that trust can't be broken is for the naive folks. You're right you can never tell the future, but the point of being in a relationship and trusting your s/o is peace of mind. If you spend your days expecting to be played, you are actually playing yourself.
