Does Will Smith's death change the way you view b.o.b crime in NOLA? Is the city actually more violent than Chicago?

The media says tourism is the reason why we don't talk about New Orleans the same way we talk about Chicago.


Is one actually worse than the other? Or are both places too far gone?
