lupe is a dope mc and cheif keef is wack as fukk, but lets not act like lu didn't put himself in the position he is in. lasers was wack and FOTP was barely tolerable, that mixtape did not redeem him at all. i still think he has the ability to make some incredible music because he is talented, but its time for lupe to show and prove

I hear that but I honestly don't see what he has to prove? Before Lasers he released mixtape after mixtape and album after album of straight fire. His music is a lot more mature and if it's better or worse, I guess that's a subjective opinion. I'm not saying Lasers was good it was terrible but FOTP was an improvement and I'm adamant F&L2 will be even better however the pessimism sorrounding this guys music nowadays has me confused.

Of course he still makes dope music. You heard Double Burger With Cheese!? That blew my mind. His political message whilst still remaining socially concious is genius. Hes like a modern day Tupac, except he doesnt carry all the bullshyt fake ass gangster pesona with him; people wont realise how dope Lupe is till hes gone that's just the nature of the culture I guess.

Even those who hated him using electronica beats should at least appreciate Super Cold, Joaquin Phoenix, Double Burger with Cheese and Life Death and Love from San Francisco.
