If there ever was a time for a Knicks championship, it’s now.

This is the ultimate “break glass in case of emergency” NBA scenario.

The only other “save the nba” option I can see would be Lebron joining Golden state and even that could backfire

Honestly thru social media we realized it's never a good idea to root for a team you aren't affiliated with. People may say "I hope they win it all" . But when they actually win you get no sense of joy because that isn't your team.















But on the other hand, the Internet bonds thru clowning losers. We like the pictures of them crying in the stands, we'll listen to them be heated in the Twitter spaces, go to the team threads and subreddits to see them melt down, tune into the post game radio shows to see who cracks.

So in the case of the NBA needing a Knicks run it would only be so we could all laugh at them for believing they can win. Like fukk them for believing in their team right



The reason things don't seem as "hype" anymore is you have to really put yourself out there to hype something/somebody. Everybody just plays it safe. Whoever wins the championship in a sport everybody just says I can't see nobody beating them, because it's safe and you won't get no threads made on you for suggesting something else or having your post history pulled up

The non affiliated fan needs superstars to not win rings so we can call them trash when they retire
