I still wanted Tatum over all. I’m not “excited” about the trade so much as I’m hoping Y’ALL were right. I have hopes for Ingram, not so much Lonzo. But y’all swear Lonzo can be a beast and him + Zion SHOULD improve his play.

Things change with Zion. If we make this trade and we don’t have Zion, I’m heated. But the Zion factor just changes everything. Everyone should have seen that coming soon as we landed the #1 pick, which to be fair, some of y’all did.

Washedj has an agenda against LeBron and the Lakers so it’s just been a joy to see him wrong time and time again.

Trust tho, we gon be paying attention to the Pels. We definitely want the kids to do well and I think they will without all the pressure of playing with LeBron on the Lakers. Y’all gon be a scary playoff team in at least a year or two if all goes well.

I think nikkas underrate AD. I think behind a healthy KD and Kawhi, he's the best player in the league. He just needs to get some dog in him. Playing with Bron should do that for him. By himself, I don't think AD has that dog in him (yet), but with an all timer like Bron, AD gonna be MVP next season IMO. Yall should be geeked. Round up yall team and yall are definitely favorites. Me personally...I think yall should focus on getting mid tier talent compared to another max guy but I understand wanting Kawhi. It'd be game over if yall get him.

But one thing I know for sure is, unless shyt just implodes drastically, AD def re-signing with yall. He loves LA. Loves it. He's a player where yall "LA privilege" came through cuz he was feenin for the LA lifestlye and bright lights. Yall getting Bron was just the sugar on top. LA was always going to be his move if we didn't get him a squad (and unsurprisingly we didn't- though AD deserves some blame too).

So for those mad at giving up the "assets", I get it...but yall getting a top 3 player in his prime for the next 5+ years. How can some not view that as a win?

Y’all gon make it. Y’all got a great foundation to build on now and will have the depth to really make y’all squad dangerous. NO isnt a bad city so eventually free agents will flock once the kids find success.

I agree with all that about AD. AD with the pressures of being a Laker will develop that dog in him. We not cutting any slack whatsoever obviously so he’s gotta deliver. The beauty of our position is we can and will go for Kawhi or another Max player but if that doesn’t work we’ve got the funds to get great complimentary parts for this team. No reason why this shouldn’t be one of the top teams unless injuries decimate us again.
