I have a good friend who has been doing work for me for about 6 months. I have always paid him in full and on time, however I'm not longer happy about the work and he has raised his rates. I can pay someone a fraction of the price and they will likely do a better job.

He is accomplished in the field, but he does not stay up to date and I be sending him articles and videos that he can't really explain or has a surface level understanding. We have clashed over the direction I want to take it, as he is stuck in his ways.

Also one has began to act thristy over money even though I have always paid on time and in full. Constantly reminding me about money even though I've always paid without a reminder.

People always say it's business not personal, but it doesn't work like that in reality. Egos and emotions are always involved.

Time to sever that relationship. I hate when people want to remind you days in advance when you always pay on time that shyt isn't necessary.

if that's your real friend it shouldn't end over business.
me and my bestie been doing deals for like 10 years. breaking bread for even longer. sometimes we even forget where the tab is because 1) we know we are good for it and 2) money aint a thang lol 3) if someone fukks up we tend to acknowledge it and try to make it right, and move on

If its not a friend going back longer than 10 years i tend to not give a fukk and will opt for whatever makes better business sense to me....you get older you realize some friends was just out of convenience and nothing more....

If he’s a true friend, you should be able to explain your grievance and settle it amicably. I’ve stopped breaking bread with friends who were unreliable, but our friendships continued.
