Didn’t watch the Mavs game but the Google search result with a screen cap of the h2h highlights between Kyrie and Zach fukkin Collins couldn’t have been a good sign.

In addition to Wemby and Vassell being out of last night's game, the Spurs shot just 31.8% from the field last.

Like Bodie, I didn't watch the game.
When you have a loss like that, you hope it was an opportunity for the younger players to gain experience.

Charles Bassey got 22 minutes and while he's not exactly young, they have to figure out what his role is going forward. Maybe he's just trade fodder.

Regarding Keldon, I don't think he's any different than he was last season. He probably survives this year but the Spurs have to look at seriously moving him next summer. He's got 2 more seasons on his contract after this season. Considering he's the scoring threat off the bench (at least until Vassell works his way back into the starting lineup), the team likely wants him to maintain his value as a 6th-7th man.

A backup SF/PF has to be a priority in the future. And to some degree you need a solid backup PG should Chris Paul retire. Probably another veteran since you don't want another young guy behind Stephon Castle.

Bassey made me a believer tonight. Dude is everything Zach Collins wishes he could be. Only thing Collins does better is shoot the three (and that's debatable). Huge win.

15 games in.

The Spurs are 9th in Defensive Rating. Let's see how that holds up through the season.
Hopefully they maintain that once Jeremy Sochan returns, since it seems like he's a much improved player this season....at least visually in the games he's played (preseason and the few regular season appearances)

What even is this team, brehs?

:pachaha:

Edit: AND KJ #1 ON SC?!

:pachaha: :pachaha:
OKC continuously getting burned by guys like PJ Washington and Keldon is hilarious. They just lost to Dallas without Luka last week and PJ Washington had 27 points. He also cooked them in the playoffs. It wasn’t even Kyrie or Luka going supernova, it was was PJ just burning them for 6 games :mjlol:
