Im an avid true crime person and last night I saw this documentary on Nikko Jenkins. Never even heard of him until the documentary but it’s crazy. He was born into a family with generations of criminals…
“He is from a family in Omaha, the Levering family, which has for more than 100 years been involved in drug abuse, child neglect, and crime.
His great-great-grandfather, Levi Levering was respected and had a high reputation as a tribal leader. However, the face of the family continued to erode with time.
As noted, his father is David A. Magee Sr.Although he was accused of fatally shooting an 18-year-old, the conviction of manslaughter was later set aside. His mother, Lori Jenkins is also sending time behind bars in connection with the murders of her son.
His sisters, Erica Jenkins, and Melonie Jenkins are also convicted felons. His uncle, Warren “Unc” Levering is also convicted of the crime.”
Since 1979 his family committed 633 crimes as a collective(them pictured below).
At the age of 7 he was already have suicidal ideation and had his first brush with the law. By 13 multiple assaults. Was in 17 fosters home in a relatively short period of time. Had severe mental health issues—he was executed in 2017 for spree killings but had documented mental health issues(severe) and claimed to kill on behalf of this Egyptian serpent king.
he never stood a chance. Makes me wonder though if people born in these kind of situations if put in the fight environment can escape generational trauma/afflictions or if that shyt is just in the blood.
