:gucci: Bean thought Dwight was soft. What is he going to think of that fragile fakkit AD?
Big difference is Kobe would have known that AD would have had the ability to carry him during games or a series if Kobe, for whatever reason, wasn't able to, and it would stop defenses from focusing on him completely. Also, I think Kobe calling Dwight soft had a LOT more do to do with Dwight's goofy ass demeanor than his actual injuries; he probably never was able to take Dwight seriously in the first place. Let's not forget that Steve Nash of all people yelled at Dwight Howard; that says a lot right there.

That’s true but Dwight was resistant to playing his role on the team. He wanted to be the first option on a team where two players were more talented offensively than him. You see how AD obeys Brons way of doing things....he definitely would’ve fell in line with Kobe’s way the way Pau did. Remember Pau was soft too but when Kobe or PJ called him out he stepped up. I feel like AD would be the same way so it wouldn’t have been an issue. Dwight was combative AD isn’t like that.

Because Dwight had zero work ethic during his time as a Laker

shyt was baffling... dude wanted more touches in the paint but didn’t want to utilize the Pick n Roll to get them and everytime he got the ball damn near, he brought it low, got fouled, and missed FT’s ultimately making possessions useless.

If Kobe could motivate Pau into being more aggressive, imagine what he could’ve done with AD
