A Day Late- beat for my pops (Old school, jazzy, boom bap, sample)

I made a lil beat for my pops for fathers day. Something with an old school sound. Spent Thursday-saturday scanning pictures and shyt and made a lil slide show with the beat..I aint gonna post all that but i'll give ya'll the beat. It was surprisingly a hit, brought some tears, some laughs all in all it was a good day. I think maybe the pictures would have done it but the beat with the pictures worked out real good. Give it a listen.

Any feedback ya'll have is welcome.

This version here is not EQ'd or anything its just straight recorded from the mpc into my cpu and saved. Either my internet or audiomack has been fukking up crazily, I cannot upload the polished version of the beat that I actually used. Even if I upload 2 files it does one and the second one loads in definitely...the polish version isn't any different, the bass more smooth and id say the entire thing sounds more full rather than hollow.

I appreciate you checkin it out.

Thanks breh, I can't any credit for the drums, I have a folder with loops that ive cut up with the intention to use at some point and I always had something like this in the back burner, like if I waited too long to get someone a gift, i'll just make a beat and use pictures or somethin...anyway, instead of making a full beat I "arranged" the samples into a way that fit well. its lazy sampling but danger mouse and other producers have done it too
