In Brazil they have a classifications of race/skin color including black white and mixed (Pardo), while the world sees the person in the first picture as 'black', it is not seen that way in Brazil.

More than half the country identifies with black or mixed, they are no longer a white majority country mainly because people are accepting what they are and taking pride in it.
