Rawkus/Soulqarians era….

Rawkus was Loud Records for the Backpackers and Hip Hop Heads who didn’t wanna hear Cash Money and No Limit.

Ironically Talib has done songs with Wayne and Gucci.

Soundbombing 2 is my favorite along with Lyricist Lounge 2 from that camp.

I miss those Hip Hop compilations where rappers would give away some loosies

There is no Rawkus/underground era without the Golden Era. This isn't a debate, especially when you include the atmosphere and culture of the two eras beyond the music.

This here.

Especially since most of the top artists in the Rawkus era were frauds and literally doing the same thing in real life, that they accused the other MC's of doing in their raps. The actual Golden Era was where individuality and originality peaked. We had more genuine classics back then, and a lane for every kind of MC. The Rawkus era was full of too much performative weirdness and fake sh*t.

Lmao at "sit with this one for a minute" :mjlol:

Each of the golden year's individual years > Rawkus

Shyt some labels alone (Def Jam, Death Row, Ruthless etc) > Rawkus

Shyt some groups output in those years (Tribe, De La, Public Enemy, BDP, Geto Boys) > Rawkus

Shyt somebody who actually joined Rawkus in his later years output during the golden year's damn near > Rawkus (Kool G) (would choose Mos first, Reflection Eternal and Black Star, with some of the Lyricist Lounge and Sound bombing albums).

If I needed to sit for a minute it'd be to call some of my boys so we can laugh at this comparison for a good 59 seconds.

9th is a hack, a dork, and a dipshyt.

He's definitely a dork. Wouldn't call him a hack. He's one of my favorite producers of all time

What I've come to learn in the last 5 to 7 years is that all three members of LB are dipshyts. How could they stand to be around each other for more than ten minutes without throwing hands is an accomplishment.
