This is how to make your car look like a 2019 model even if it's an '08. When a chick gets into your whip it should be a wrap.

1. Update the head unit. This more for the older cars. You can find a decent one for around $200-300. Once that Android Auto or Apple Carplay is on, your whip will just feel more expensive. Voice commands and GPS. Plus you can add a backup cam if you don't have one.

2. Change all lights to LED. Interior and exterior. That whiter light is just good looking. Nothing is more cheap and ugly looking then those stock yellow ass lights. Headlights are much cheaper and have gotten better and interior bulbs are like $10 for a whole pack. Headlight bulbs are going for around $40-80/pair.

3. Leather steering wheel cover. You can go with the cheap ones from Walmart that you just put over your wheel. Those can look good, but at times look too cheap. You can get an actual cover for like $20-40. Only thing is you have to actually stitch those together and it is hard and time consuming, but once it's done, it looks amazing and looks OEM. Feels premium and adds some grip.

4. Paint your headliner black (If you have a black interior) A lot of cars even though your interior/seats are black, your pillars and roof are white or a cream color. And yeah it creates the illusion of more space, but painting it black really does something to your car. You can get Duplicolor black fabric coating at home depot for $8 a can. It's easy to spray. Taking everything out of your car (headliner, pillars, etc...) will be hard as shiit, but once it's done I promise you won't regret it. Especially if you love the coupe like look. :ohlawd: Plus you won't see dirt stains.

5. Tint your windows. Find out what the legal limit is and get very close to it. When you have blacked out windows you definitely look like you have a luxury car. Plus if you live in a hot area it helps blocking some of that sunlight/heat out. $100 at most.

6. Get rid of useless chrome. This more personal preference, but I can't stand chrome on cars. A small piece is cool, but if your whole grill or window trim is all chrome that just looks hideous. You can get a can of plasti-dip or vinyl for like $10 and change it. Typically black looks best. And if you're more serious you can paint it too.

7. Changing the wheel color. This may not always be cheap, but it's worth mentioning. Best way is to powder coat the wheels, but that may be too pricey ($300-600) or you could even paint them. Silver wheels which are common just don't do it. Tinting them or getting them black or gunmetal just add a quality look.

8. Replace the floor mats. If they are worn out and have changed colors go ahead and replace them. The may not seem like much, but they can really affect the look of your car.

9. Just wash & detail from time to time. You can do it yourself or you can find a car wash and get a basic wash and detail for like $30. Add some air freshener in there and try not to eat food in it.

all solid tips, although i thought I read somewhere to be careful changing bulbs to leds in much older cars. I've been meaning to ditch the all chrome grille on my car. and a good 3m tint job cost me wayyyy more than $100

This. And if you've got a good 2K to just throw around, I'd ask why the fukk didn't you try to invest some of that...or, if your car isn't paid off, put it towards that...
