No love at all, but I like the point of the movie. A brother tries to put another lil brother on the right path, to avoid the one he has taken. Seems everyone is conditioned to worry about their own life, but sometimes it takes a village to raise a child.

there is a theme just like the on you posted but the kid has a mother, id assume she is hard working and is working all the time thuss has no time to cut sons hair and buy him gifts so Strike (the films protagonist) does it and takes him under his wing, its a good film.

when u a lil boy, being raised by unfit parents in the hood, poor and hungry and the only grown ups helping u out are the trappin nikkas on the corner, u can't help but grow up idolizing them.

It's a vicious cycle but I don't understand how you don't care for your kids even if you grew up with no dad. Of course following a blueprint helps but parenthood should be instinctual. How do you neglect your kids and go partying every night with no shame?

i realized as a young nikka.....alot of these nikkas in the streets/claim they be in the streets...... be havin emotions like lil bytches real talk

go talk to some of these nikkas.....you'll realize... they more wishy washy than the females they dealing with
