Personally, I'm tired about talking about it. At this point it's not productive for me anymore and I hate all the politicization of the event and the sensational patriotic displays that people put on every year. Unfortunately we'll probably have to deal with it for years more.

I dont find it to be overly productive anymore either, In particular i really fukking hate the way Bush/Iraq/Afghanistan apologists will jump on and use this event as a way to retcon history and spin spin spin shyt the way they want. I wish that sooner rather than later, people would be okay with just flat out saying... We reacted to this in the wrong way. I dont know what the right way was, but if you told people back then that 9/11's response would be 2 wars, trillions of dollars, hundreds of thousands of lives lost, etc.. Would they be so reactionary?

I dont know. I think its high time that America put their swords down and started home building, and I hope that THAT, if anything, is what people should learn from 9/11.

Still remember exactly where I was when I found out. RIP to all those that lost their lives that day. Keep it at that, plenty of other days to discuss whose fault it was the wars that came after it.

Humanity
The most sinister, vicious, corrupt, blatant display of neocapitalistic, colonial, fascist greed ploy I've ever witnessed in my life.

Machiavelli would shyt bricks if he ever met Cheney.

yeah, and i bet he will live to be 120 years old before his robot heart fails him...then they will transplant his brain into a youthful clone of himself with bionic implants so him and the Kissinger Clone can keep on fukking up the world for eternity.

The same thing I thought 10 years later. 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 year later too.

Plus we have people who think 9/11 was the apocalypse when the events of the Native Americans getting expunged from the planet, the triangle slave trade and the Holocaust were much worse. Of course it's ok to talk about the holocaust and 9/11 forever but when it comes to slavery and the Native Americans getting wiped out it's always "forget it and move on."

These are all valid points, but them indians didn't have no Whitey slick refined propaganda machine.

So, when USA goes to Libya to pillage the country (we're talkin bout 21st century, not the 9th) nobody blinks, but when few thousand people die in the USA, it's the horror of all horrors and let's invade the world.

Meanwhile, 40 000 sliced up people in the neighborhood for Mejico, just down the border.

But we cant bring democracy there. We need that coke cash lil woadie.

Sickning.
