80s Party Ideas

So I got some homies throwing an 80s party at the end of July, and I got plenty of time to get my shyt right for the day. I have an 1980 Sanyo boombox and wanna show up with endless tracks playing off of it for the night.

The catch, shyt gotta be a lil formal, cuz my white friends are having this party after a small wedding, but want it 80s themed. They always got us thinking shyt over

So I need 80s hip hop attire that you'd see old school brehs rock at weddings and dances. I was originally gonna get like 8 different sizes of chains, spray paint them, and rock my Adidas tracksuit, but 80's b-boys wouldn't rock that to a formal, I don't think.

Try to look up drug dealers from the 80's? They always seemed to wear classier things back then. Everytime I try to get ideas I think of New Jack City or Jimmy Jump from KONY but those are considered 90's.
