Asuka is like Bobby Roode or AJ last winter: technically a heel, but good luck finding a babyface the crowd will root for over them.

It's weird that the top 4 (probably top 6) female in-ring workers are all faces. So since they don't like face v face matches the matches end up being worse than they should be.

Asuka (basically a face, and even if you consider her a heel she's still in NXT so the point remains with the other 5)

I would say they need to turn Charlotte, but then Smackdown becomes super heel heavy. Especially if they get the Iconic Duo like some are predicting.

NXT needs to start focusing on building up female heels. If Asuka and the ID move up, then it's just Nikki Cross and Sonya Deville who get TV time, and only Nikki is a legit contender for the belt. Compare that to Ember Moon, Ruby Riot, (likely) Kairi Sane, Liv Morgan, and Aaliyah as faces. (They've started using Lacey Evans and Bianca Belair, but neither of them really has a character where you could call them face or heel).
