I hope they hire people in developing countries. That's life-changing money:mjcry:
There’s a talk the CEO had before about favoring people who been through adversity, it was a great interview. It was the same interview he said everybody gets paid the same to the other people on their level, nearly to the dollar. Said doesn’t give 1-on-1 reviews because he wants things very transparent and to know he’s not talking about colleagues behind anyone’s backs.

I honestly think any Black person who graduated from a top school is someone this company would value highly. I think there are people from Ghana and the Congo working there right now remotely.

Apparently the company doesn’t lay-off, they trust their workforces’ talents, want you to struggle though and make a breakthrough. That’s the philosophy. They’re the only tech company this whole time who hasn’t had a single lay-off.

They’re small compared to other tech giants, but they 100% hire based on quality and character.

It's a good company, I think we're just hitting the tip of the iceberg as far as gains from the stock. It's definitely a long term hold for sure. At $100 something dollars a share right now i think it's a steal long term. Retail investors can still eat good too.

Funny too because even tho many of those people who are millionaires can afford to retire, they are still working. Shows a bit that their passion for their work goes beyond just the pay. It definitely takes a lot to work there.
I've been holding NVDA for 4 years now, it's definitely a long term hold and will make you money.

A few months ago it dipped below $100, great opportunity.

And those splits are :wow: I've already gone through one 10-to-1 split, the next one will be amazing, I'm looking to hold it for at least 10 years.

Are they actually able to sell the stock whenever they Want
Yes once the shares are vested (how long you need to work there before you get your equity) you can sell it whenever they are yours. This is why people used to do bids at Amazon. They'd compensate with a bunch of stock and you'd just do your bid there for 1-2 years and you're likely up at least $100k.

Equity is a big driver of the attractiveness of a company because if you can get in early to silicon valley unicorns you'll easily be a millionaire. But the drawback there is you don't know which will blow up and/or how long it will take for it blow up. But you don't have to just be an engineer to get this. All sorts of roles at these companies offer equity in addition to salary compensation. It's just finding the right one. That's why it's so competitive

That's fascinating. Racial discrimination against black people is pretty common in tech. You could have an advance degree and they refuse to hire you. Sounds like Nvidia is different.

The only way to get out of corporate slavery is to invest in companies like this before they blow. I am sitting on 1200 palantir shares, if it goes on nvidia like run :wow:
You think pltr gonna blow up? Been investing in avgo and tsm but pltr look good too

Been loading up on nvda for the past year there are so many dips
