ive seen 55 entirely and probably a little bit of the rest. I need to revisit those Diana Ross movies because other than "The Wiz", i can't remember anything them. They left off a lot of blaxploitation like "3 the Hard Way", "Boss nikka", "Drum", etc and a few recent movies like "Training Day" and "Dead Presidents" and pretty much every Eddie Murphy movie from the 80's they didn't list like "Trading Places", "48 hours" and "BH Cop":francis:

I have seen all of the list and I can honestly say that at least half of the list is made up of movies that really don't need to be seen at all. Bebe's Kids? Really? Skip the animated movie and just go watch some of Robin Harris's stand-up.
And the list order is funky too. How is Breakin' gonna be ahead of movies like A Soldier's Story, Malcolm X and Juice?

1-26, I'd only seen like maybe 3-4 movies in that bunch, if maybe slightly more if you wanna count half viewings in passing and such, but I can't remember much of it. When it gets towards the 80's years tho, from #27 to the end, I'd seen almost every movie listed from that point. So I guess about nearly 50 of these moves I've seen. There's only about 4-5 though that I've just never heard of at all. Oddly enough, never heard of 'Have Plenty' before despite it being released well into my conscious years, but I think I'd check it out now tho.

Half?! Nah. Maybe a 10th of it may fit that bill. Not every movie is an outright classic for sure, but most were at least pretty decent and entertaining and plenty even had some social relevance towards why they should've been seen, even if they weren't too great. Also, a lot of the movies were movies that if you were raised within that era, especially if you were black or into black culture, you'd have seen or been expected to have seen or at least know about them. Too many on that list were influential or at least outright referenced aplenty over the years throughout various sorts of other entertainment mediums, one way or another.
