In a film studies class I saw a documentary where this dude was homeless, yet had +$250 000 in the bank. Had a wife and two kids, was a damn near genius but mentally unstable. The guy would blow away your mind with his views on the world one second, and the next would curse you out. They lost track of him as at the end as you could see him go more and more off the deep end.

I really do find it hard to believe someone with all those degrees, can't find ANY kind of job for an extended period of time. I've known people to find jobs in the height of this recession, ~2008-9, and they damn sure didn't have any phd or masters.

That was almost 10 years ago so I have no idea. It was a Canadian documentary based in Montreal, teacher said the female director worked on it for 10 years and it had a small release. Might have been a school project and she just kept on following these people.

These girls in class were all sobbing at the end, probably a few guys too. One of the rawest docs I've seen. I'll look in my notes if I still have them.
