Based off 1.longevity, 2. influence, 3. commercial success, & 4. classic bodies of work.

50. Uncle Luke
49. Lord Infamous

“Lord Infamous could arguably be considered the godfather of trap music for today. A song like where’s the bud came out in 1996 and sounds like it was created yesterday”

48. Master P
47. David Banner
46. Young Dro
45. DJ Paul
44. Young Buck
43. Fat Pat
42. B.G
41. Willie D
40. Trick Daddy
39. Juicy J
38. Paul Wall
37. Soulja Slim
36. BIG K.R.I.T
35. Sauce Walka
34. Lil KeKe
33. MO3
32. 8Ball
31. MJG
30. Mystikal
29. 2 Chainz
28. Plies
27. Big Boi
26. Pimp C
25. Juvenile
“One could argue that Juve is one of the most underrated MCs of all time. 400 Degreez is considered a top 10 southern album of all time & sparked the run for Cash Money Records”

24. Yo Gotti
23. Webbie
22. Project Pat
21. 21 Savage
20. Boosie BadAzz
19. Bun B
18. Kevin Gates
17. Ludacris
16. Young Dolph
15. Young Thug
14. Takeoff
13. Offset
12. Lil Baby
11. Kodak Black
10. T.I.

“Often referred to as the King of Trap Music. T.I went on one of the greatest 3 album rap runs in history with Trap Muzik, Urban Legend & King.”

9. Rick Ross
8. Jeezy
7. Gucci Mane
6. NBA Youngboy

“If the term numbers don’t lie was in human form it would be NBA Youngboy. At only 23, the youngest in the top 10 but with more platinum certifications than anyone not named Lil Wayne he has to be. YB is considered by his audience as the Tupac of his era with terms of frequently releasing music. At his rate he can easily become the most successful southern rapper of all time.”

5. J.Cole
4. Andre 3000
3. Future
2. Scarface
1. Lil Wayne

“Lil Wayne is not only the greatest southern rapper of all time but he is also the most influential. Many like Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Young Thug, Trippie Redd, & Kodak Black have all have been said to be inspired by Dwayne Carter”

Master P should be in the top 25 atleast. Crazy that he's almost not in the top 50.

Maybe I'm biased because I'm :old: but I would remove YOUNGBOY from the top 10 and put Luda somewhere in the top 10

K-Rino should be on this list too. Real heads know what time it is. :mjpls:

Based off of the criteria that was listed P is top 5 of course if it was lyrical skills then that is a different convo. It's cause of him and showimg the possibilities all these others even had a chance

For the most part the right rappers are on there, but the order is off. Also, Kodak, NBA Youngboy, Young Thug, and Lil Baby should NOT be on there, especially not in front of guys like Luda, Pat, UGK, etc. I’ve never been a Wayne fan at all but he at least does have real merit to be on there, especially when it comes to influence, longevity, and being apart of a legendary label.
