I'm not talking about Kanye West the producer. Tracks he did for Jigga, Nas, etc.
Let's compare the material they released as rap artists.
My all-time favorite joints from each.
50 Cent:
at least half of GRODT
I Don't Need Em
I Get Money
Gunz 4 Sale
Thug Love
How To Rob
Rowdy Rowdy
Kanye West:
Good Morning (imo, Kanye's best song ever)
Family Business
So 50 Cent wins by a lot. Most of it has to do with beat selection and voice. When 50 rhymes, I feel him. He comes from a place of bravado and strength. I can relate. When Kanye raps, I get bored. It's not hard enough. I can rap along to "Wanksta" and a lot of 50's dope shyt word for word. But Ye? Nah. Something about his music doesn't move me like that.
Who do you side with? Who's got more tracks that you FEEL?
