Hip Hop Radio Arguments are more funny than informative most of the time but this 50 Vs Styles P shyt was really crazy and informative in retrospect. It's when I really had to respect Styles P.

Dude really stood on his own two in this and held his own. And this was a prime 50 that was feeling himself extra hard. Even by 50's tone towards the end of the interview you could see 50 had some genuine respect for him. And he never gives that to anyone besides Eminem. He treats his own friends like shyt/slaves and his enemies he mocks til the death of him.

Styles berates him for laughing at Supreme getting locked, tells him he forgot where he came from, then tells him he's not mad at him for fukking his album release over...and that 50's antics aren't hurting him they're just strengthening his guard. People always complain about rappers never take blame for their own mishaps but Styles did it here with the upmost diplomacy, while reminding 50 to try to mentally come back to the streets and stop acting like an corny industry nikka.

It's when I began to realize that as loved as 50 is..or may seem...he could never be the LOX. As in he could never make a song that really speaks to the streets, the way The LOX can. 50 doesn't give a shyt about anyone but himself. He really is that grimy dude who truly doesn't give a fukk. Which is why most people respect him but they hate him. Meanwhile The LOX are those guys who don't sell as much as 50 but they are truly loved. And this interview did a great job showing the contrast between both characters. 50 keeps rambling about dumb industry bullshyt trying to pretend he had nothing to do with Styles P's album pushed back, trying to make him the source of ridicule, neverending rambling about money, while Styles keeps pressing 50 about the code of ethics. And it's funny because throughout the interview where's a subtle mutual respect even though these nikkas are two different people

Styles may have never sold as much as Jay or 50 but that man needs his flowers while he's still here for what he is to hip hop

Yea this was when 50 was REALLY feeling himself. Bruh we would have arguments EVERYDAY of dblock vs gunit

The ending though show how immature styles was "I don't do offices. Let's have a meeting in the streets:mjlol:" imagine his talks with record labels

Nah 50 embarrassed himself
No both parties were embarrassing.

This 50 during his scarface era(prob the most arrogant rapper) we will ever see at they height. Some of the shyt he was doing was straight :snoop: although at times:mjlol:

Styles with the way he was talking street this street that with a total disregard for how business works. It's great to be street but know how to handle ya biz also. It's the reason Puff shyted on him

Where the fukk does time fly? Remember when this happened. Told nikkas back then 50 was feeling himself and that it would all come back to haunt him (ie. bragging about sales etc). I said it since 2005 all the way to about 2007

I think in hindsight it's clear 50 embarrassed himself. He probably cringes when he thinks about some of the unnesccary drama he started.
Do you have alerts for when a 50 cent thread is posted? Does your account automatically pop into these threads? You clearly don't like the nikka why focus so much energy on him? shyt's corny

Ja was literally making the same point about fif in 2000 when he was being asked about 50's "naming names", diss song, gimmick routine. Styles doesn't understand that the same set of values he holds dear have never been held by fif. What styles thought was authentic about woodface was actually an illusion.

nikka stop it

styles clearly said "nah you helped me out brother" implying that he knew it was just business and that he just took it in that regard.

50 was he one acting like immature with his ghetto fabulous bragging while styles was trying to talk man to man

Remember that song AZ did where he said the same thing

"Yeah you hot now but the biggest fall the hardest so be humble" he said something of that effect
