4 New beats (short/quick vids)

I have absolutely nothing to do for the next 5 days and my Internet is out until July 27th, which means I have my phone to peek on the coli every so often which sucks (i am always on my laptop or tablet) I hate mobile browsing but anyways

I made this beat then upped the tempo in the final record i.e the SoundCloud recording


For this beat I was fukkin around with these Asian sounds and a sitar and came up with a melody with the sitar then went back and added those Asian karate noises..it reminded me of those Saturday afternoon karate flicks

Maybe 6 years I should be or atleast sound a than I am/do. I used reason back in the day, then bought an
mpc 2000 then the 2kxl andgot real good then sold my mpc in 09 and bought the 4000 in 2014. So maybe 5 years experience with MPC's. I sold my boy my og 2000 in 07, he still uses it everyday/other day and is lightyears
ahead of me. I'll get there though.

I'm struggling with bass lines on beats that aren't samples.

That's dope brah, I been at it for 12 years now it's an on/off thing. I'm not as much into it as I was in the beginning. I never messed with an mpc before, I literally touched one once lol..I remember it was blue and it was light in weight. I also used Reason, that shyt was okay until I learned to use Ableton, that's when my beat game picked up. I think 6 years is still fresh, still too many things to learn/get into when beat making. Man I feel you on that bass thing, I've always struggled with bass too. Maybe you could do some research and buy a good bass guitar? I bought a fender bass guitar last year and strung it with nylon strings, it sounds amazing the only thing is I also got into building Gundam models and drumming at the same time lol and I've messed with the bass like twice only to record on beats, I don't record much with it cause I haven't found the time to practice...one day maybe. But it's just a suggestion to help with your bass problems ,aloha.
