Wm was ass Cena angle is wack I don't see anything good happening with this storyline much like everything outside of the women's side right now.

I mean the original idea was to turn Rhodes heel and he refused.

And that probably makes a way more entertaining program, but doesn't solve the fact that no one was there for weeks at a time to sell the program.

Heel Cena was just too meta and not a character. I guess Ariel puts it best...

The decision to turning Cody/Cena heel was literally the day before Elimination Chamber. Rock was already going to be there.

Rock wanted Cody to turn heel. He declined. So, they pivot, but Rock completely flaked on the program after that. Which seems like he felt a certain way Cody turning it down.
